The stay in this country house was totally beautiful! We were very warmly welcomed and then got to see our rooms, which were really large, comfortable and equipped with a modern bathroom. In the morning we got a very good breakfast consisting of baguettes, croissants, jams, muesli and fruits. Only the passage through the rooms is royally the establishment is still partly from the former time with paintings, chandeliers and wall carpets. In addition, the Chenonceau Castle and the restaurants of the place are within walking distance. This hotel is really highly recommended!
Une belle maison, un rien surannée mais c'est là son cachet. On se sent bien de suite grâce à l'accueil des propriétaires qui sont présent sans êtres intrusifs. Nous avions une chambre dans la dépendance qui jouxte la maison . Propre même si un petit effort dans les sanitaires serait bien venu mais c'est loin d'être dramatique. La literie était parfaite et le calme de l'endroit permet de bien dormir. Le petit déjeuner, pris dans le jardin était copieux. Pour résumer, un excellent séjour et un très bel emplacement pour visiter la région.
This was a gastronomique meal with service in a traditional way. It was a large quiet room with doors open onto a large garden. I had foie gras de canard with a glass of Vouvray moelleux. It was excellent. My daughters had rondelle d'agneau and salmon. For my main course I had scallops with a raillou sauce (black radish). It was delicious. We had tarte aux pommes with ice cream for dessert. This remains one of the best of all the meals we had in France.
