'Genuine ' is the vibe the art of hospitality is alive and well in the hosts who took care of us, and I do mean that quite literally. We were shown to a table and had napkins laid in our laps like a scene out of a movie. At no point did I feel like I was hovered or neglected, the hosts were attentive and considerate, the gentleman a consummate conversationalist who engaged many of the other patrons in welcome banter, which was very well received and really gave the room a homey feel. I originally booked a table of but I asked if we could add more and they were more than happy to accommodate us. From the beginning the service was friendly and cheerful, they allowed us enough time to decide before ordering, gave us...tap water which they re-filled twice, and everything came out at a good pace. I had the seafood risotto and a beef mushroom ragu pappardelle, great flavour, just the right amount of sauce, everything was tender and tasty, just what you want. First time back for over years having moved out of the neighbourhood and the gorgeous staff still remembered us and our food and drink preferences. We’d been going here regularly for years. Food just as brilliant as ever and very pleasantly surprised to...see the extent of the menu on offer still, given only diners allowed in. Brilliant night. Can’t wait to come back.
A great family-run Italian restaurant with a good variety of meals on offer. Delicious home-made lasagne and the pineapple daiquiri was on special the night we went for a friend’s birthday. Although there were a lot of us we did not have to wait long for our meals to be served.

We had the most delicious meal at La Ricetta. The Fettuccine Sambuca was the most amazing tasting pasta dish. So unique and scrumptious! The service is so friendly and genuine. Such a welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere. satisfaction!!
My turn to book the restaurant and La Ricetta was my 1st choice to treat my 2 friends to an Inner West gem. We had a fabulous 3 course meal in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Both friends will be back with their wives.
Excellent restaurant. Yummy food, extensive menu, competitive pricing and great service. Highly recommend the figs wrapped in prosciutto and the chocolate fondant (lava cake). One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney

Quick, easy check in to be seated (table for 2) I went craving for a lasagne so I ordered a large one here it hit the spot
