After we came down from bellevue, where we realized after the fact that we should simply have stayed, my partner and our old thoughts for what we thought would be a reasonable, relatiw tasty lunch. our arrival was acknowledged with an up and down. scowl and not even a hauch of a smile from a young and thoroughly miserable waitress. Although we were not busy, we probably sat around before someone even gave a menu. the choice was small. we ordered croûte au fromage, kinder knack et pomme de terres sautées, a apple juice, carafe d’eau, panache and pints. the entire wtf? to lunch? I understand they're paying for the job, too, but. our soggy croûte was deceived with skinny cream (and I have eaten...
we have arrived at midday august. the owner said, "j’arrive, minut". the table was still dirty, no problem. we were hungry and the dishes look very delicious. we started to clean ourselves, according to Kovid rules, of course. min later we approached the owner, j’arrive, she...sayed min later, min from our arrival, the waitress said only dessert and drink. This is a lovely spot at Col de Voza and the only restaurant around. But the food is a disgrace and the service, terrible. We had to wait minutes for a menu that never came. Ended up having to walk to the board at...the entrance of the terrace. One more half hour to be served The goat cheese salad is served with poor tasteless plastic style cheese. The croûte au fromage was hardly warm suggesting frozen fare badly cooked. It was possibly the worst croûte I have ever tasted. It’s ridiculously expensive for what you get. Too bad. With such a wonderful touristic location this place is a shame to French cuisine
this is new to our repertoire of lunches and it is excellent. the cheese and sausage plate is fantastic and we were happy enough to have farcon for lunch today, highly recommended! a local court with kartoffels, planted and speck. perfect for a sunny lunch on the mountain. If they don't ski, the tram du mont blanc stops and there are incomparable views of mont blanc. x
