During our ski holiday week last December in Lenzerheide, we had a dinner at La Riva. The restaurant is located outside the town in a quiet location. Inside the restaurant it has a Swiss chalet style with wooden beams. The tables were decorated festively for the holiday season. The food there is not only tasteful for the tongue and stomach, but also for the eyes! Each course and each dish was beautifully, artistically and exquisitely presented. We were a group of 11 people and ordered individually from the menu: 3 courses, 5 courses and even complete menu. Since there were not enough menus in English and each course has an unusual name, two of us had ordered 3 courses but without a main cour...
my family has visited la riva for many years and asia stubli is yet another reason to come back! the sushi is something of the best I ever had! everything is as fresh as they want it to be, the...presentation and variety charming and the mixed plate much for two. the mixed plate contains a lot of sashimi and nigiri as well as a few roll and Japanese omelett. of course there is also the possibility to order a la carte. we also have the (best ever! seeweed salat, edamame and dim sonne three dishes I also highly recommend. sushi in the mountains or snow may seem surprising, but chef dominique and his team do not forget them in japan or a big city!
nice to have some different high quality kitchen in lenzerheide. positiw surprised to find the toro tuna not only on the Asian menu, but also available and in good quality. same (family-friendly) service as in the neighbouring restaurant la riva. the sashimi, nigiri and maki are as well as the dim sum were clean and authentic. the suppen (miso and tom kha gai) as well as the proven curry domain were a refined interpretation of the traditional recipes, but nevertheless naturally and intensively. even if the desert could not fit with the other curses, it was a very pleasant night in this newly opened restaurant.
We've been to La Riva a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. We chose to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary there recently with a group of friends from the UK and they welcomed us with a beautifully decorated table - something we had not expected as we did not recall even mentioning it was our anniversary!! The food was fantastic as usual - imaginative, tasty and amazingly presented - and the service is exemplary. We're not surprised Roger Federer is a regular visitor! We've been three times this winter season and we will return! Réservez une table maintenant
Ich war letztes Wochenende mit meiner Familie im Asia - Stübli zu Gast, und ich kann es jedem absolut empfehlen. Man hat eine riesige Auswahl von Frühlingsrollen, Asia-Suppen, Sushi bis hin zu Curry und Süss/ Sauer. Wir haben uns quer durch die Karte gegessen und waren absolut begeistert. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist auch super, und sehr gute Weinkarte.Tolle Leistung! Wir kommen wider!
Although tasty, la riva has become too fancy. I've been there many times over the years but won't go back there too soon. They have a very limited food menu and the few dishes are too sophisticated (only ingredients on menu rather than actual dish). Furthermore, it's really pricey. I prefer cheaper, down to earth restaurants. Also staff was really slow and not paying attention to detail.
Our party of four had a fabulous night at La Riva recently. The food is excellent, not to tricky or fussy but interesting in its presentation and execution and use of excellent raw materialsThe service, was as you would expect in a one star Michelin was very good and the wine list also good with reasonable prices
This is proper modern upmarket cooking. Menu is sensibly not too large but the Chef knows what he is doing - and he comes out for a chat before you leave.Modern uncluttered dining room and excellent service as well. Would not be disgraced by being in London or Paris. Réservez une table maintenant
