Staying at a local campsite, this restaurant was recommended to us for takeaway pizza. We arrived and ordered two good, albeit slightly overpriced, pizzas. As they are so busy and unable to specify times, you are hit and miss whether you pick them up hot, or cold. Tasted good, albeit the price was a bit to high. Based on the greeting we had from the owner, we decided to book a table for the following week and give the menu a try. In the meantime, after a long day at the beach, we opted for another takeaway pizza. Having waited 1hr 30 for it, we opened it to find all of the edges burnt on both pizzas. This restaurant opened in summer of 2015 and is situated at the roundabout Clohars Carnoet and Le Pouldu. My family and I visited twice during our stay at a nearby campsite and we were not to be disappointed. The management were extremely welcoming and on the second occasion which was my daughter's birthday, they went out of the way to ensure that she had a really nice birthday meal, bringing a superb desert, complete with indoor firework! The food was excellent, pizzas to die for! A few little nibbles were much appreciated as we waited for our meal. La Riviera is close to our lovely caravan at the (very) nearby Camping du Quinquis. The restaurant never fails to make their guests feel anything other than totally welcome, they really do want you to have a lovely time. The menu is simple, well cooked and well presented and the restaurant is lovely and light and airy, there is a very good selection on the menu that will be sure to please all tastes. Value for money is exceptional, when we visited in May 2018, there were 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 children and, including drinks, mains and a selection of starters and deserts, the total bill was €160, whenever we are at our caravan we make a point of visiting La Riv, it really is lovely.
Quel repas magnifique j'ai eu avec le veau, c'était exceptionnel, mon mari a pris les moules et a été très impressionné, les autres membres de la famille ont essayé différentes choses, nous étions 8 et tous étaient contents. Les desserts étaient incroyables aussi. Un peu plus cher que les autres endroits, mais la qualité était au rendez-vous, donc les prix sont justifiés. Nous sommes passés devant cet endroit plusieurs fois et sommes heureux d'avoir essayé, nous y retournerons certainement. Réservez une table maintenant
Nous avons continué à passer devant en vacances à proximité. Ça n'a pas l'air grand-chose de l'extérieur mais nous sommes tellement contents d'avoir pris la décision d'essayer. Les pizzas étaient merveilleuses et mon fils a adoré sa carbonara. Super ambiance et le restaurant était plein seulement une heure après l'ouverture. Nous revenons dans la région l'année prochaine et nous reviendrons certainement. En prime, ils font aussi des plats à emporter.
The food was delicious and great value and the service was really good. The children both chose pizza. The pizza's were huge so they shared one (with a little help from Mum and Dad) and we took the other one away with us. My husband chose a pork dish and I had lasagne both of which were lovely. We visited this restaurant in a Saturday night . The place was buzzing but we had a reserved table were seated with ease. Our French is very weak but the waiter spoke some English . The food was really good. Very tasty unenglish. A very enjoyable evening . Desserts were accompanied by feathers were very yummy. Wine Breton cider were reasonably priced most acceptable. Would we visit again . Most definitely we will be back
Excellent service. Excellente cuisine. Les pizzas sont incroyables. Hautement recommandé ! Le personnel en cuisine travaille très dur pour préparer des plats délicieux. Bon vin et de délicieux desserts glacés. J'ai pris un café irlandais... on pouvait clairement goûter le whisky !! Nous reviendrons certainement lors de notre prochaine visite au camping de Quinquis. Réservez une table maintenant
carte attrayante et variée. cadre agréable et agréable. petit appartement pour le service. serveuse très (trop) pressée. petite confusion entre vitesse et précipitation. Assez stressant pour les voir courir autour de vous pendant que vous dînez. Alors, profitez un peu de colère ! Sinon, je recommande.
