La Roca Restaurant

We were going to give a 5 star rave review until the end. Good food and cocktails were fantastic but then we ordered dessert and coffee. The dessert came right away but we were waiting for the coffee which never came. It was not busy at all. Very few tables. It turned out our waiter forgot to order the coffee and it was over 30 minutes later when we asked for the bill which took more time. It was unfortunate as we would have had a great end to the evening but now will likely not go back. The view of the ocean was amazing. But after sitting and waiting for so long even that lost its appeal. It definitely had some very nice qualities and I think if the ending to our evening had been different we most likely would have gone back.

Not good at all. We made a reservation for 9 pm, which was the time they offered. However, when we arrived, it took a while for them to assign us a waiter. The waiter didn't even know what the fish of the day was. An hour later, they informed us that they were closing the kitchen and started cleaning and tidying up. At that point, it felt like we were being neglected in terms of service. We even had to get up to pay because there was no one available to assist us. If they want to operate as a high-end hotel restaurant, they should not have double shifts if they cannot provide adequate service for the price they charge.

I love breakfast here! Gourmet restaurant with the best views in Cabo! We love watching whales from our table in the morning.
