But this time it was packed people were lining up outside, so we went back out and looked for some other restaurant. We came across the Golden Tulip hotel's restaurant, decided to give it a try. My dinner was a hot/cold buffet with desert. The selection of cold food is good with a little of everything available. The taste was great and thoroughly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the hot food was not much warmer than the cold. I was warmly greeted upon arrival and had frequent visits from the wait staff until my hot course was finished. I waited for an hour to get my bill - certain waiters seemed to go out of their way to avoid responding to my guestures. Je ne sais pas s'il y avait quelque chose qui n'allait pas avec les bruyères ce soir-là, mais il faisait un froid glacial dans le restaurant... La plupart des visiteurs ont choisi le buffet. Vous pouvez choisir entre le buffet froid ou chaud, un mix, et avec ou sans dessert. Mon choix s'est porté sur le froid, à mes yeux c'était le meilleur assortiment. Beaucoup de fruits de mer différents à choisir. Mais j'ai été un peu déçu, ça avait l'air meilleur que ça avait l'air. Les différents types de moules avaient presque le même goût. Le crabe n’avait aucun goût et sa coquille était presque vide. Si je reviens, j'opterai pour le buffet chaud.

Between flights, CDG, our airport hotel did not have a restaurant so we walked up to Golden Tulip for dinner.The buffet choices were "hot" or "cold", we had to choose one or the other. The hot was not hot, it was barely warm, not a large selection, but acceptable. The staff was nice, but did not seem to go out of their way.
We used the hotel as a stopover between flights and dined in the restaurant one evening and breakfast one morning. Both the hot and cold buffets gave an excellent choice. The steak and chips was delicious. Service was welcoming and attentive.We would definitely use this hotel and restaurant again.
Nous avons passé la nuit grâce à Air France car nous avons manqué notre correspondance et on nous a donné un bon pour ce buffet. Nous étions un peu inquiets mais la nourriture était délicieuse. Un buffet chaud et froid bien présenté et varié. Bon service. Rien à redire du tout! Qui l'aurait cru!!
Our meals here were courtesy of Air France thanks to unexpected stopover at CDG so we didn't expect the very best. We were given a choice of hot or cold buffet, no mixing allowed. There was a good selection at both but nobody in our party was overly impressed with the food. Service was so-so.
