We had high hopes for our night out and were pleased with our dinner, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were very generous and we were impressed with the wine selection. Our server was friendly and attentive. The only issue that would prevent us from returning was the loud noise level. While we don't expect complete silence in a restaurant, we found ourselves having to raise our voices to hear each other, which took away from the relaxed atmosphere we were seeking on our weekly date night. I occasionally dine at La Rucola for dinner, as it is conveniently located near my home and consistently provides a wonderful dining experience. The food is consistently delicious, with both the pizza and pasta being standout items. The meats, salads, and appetizers are also superb. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is elegant, and the establishment is impeccably clean. The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Went there for lunch. The quality of the food was average, but there were a lot of fruit flies swarming around in the restaurant. Very irritating and staff didn't seem to care. We were charged $40 for a bottle of wine that retails at LCBO for $10.00. Felt totally ripped off. Would not recommend this restaurant.

we ate at the restaurant and we were really unhappy with the food . portions are very small even a little kid will go hungry from there. i ordered a FULL rack of lamb chops and i get 3 little pcs , i asked the waitress and she reply with SORRY , never will go again

We had another fantastic meal of Veal Scallopini at this restaurant. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning soon to try the Chicken Caesar. My wife chose the Salmon and Caesar salad, but was too full to have dessert.
