La Salle A Manger A Crest

We went as a couple on a Sunday night. Two young people welcome us and were kind and polite . However it took a long time to order. The table behind us ordered before us despite arriving after us . Unfortunately some dishes run out which meant that the menu was a bit smaller . A lady came to take our order eventually and she asked what drinks we had ordered , I felt it was up to her to know what I ordered and got a bit put off . The meal was served and again the young lady from the beginning of the evening look after our drinks effectively . We enjoyed our meal . When it was time to pay we got told we had to go inside to do so. I was surprised and asked why it was the case and got told it was just like that! There was no bill you could scrutinised to make sure they had not made a mistake and I felt under pressure to pay as it was . I am sorry but it was expensive and I got very stressed with the lack of customer service from the old lady who I personally felt was rude . I would not recommend that restaurant as they do not care about their clients . They are lucky they have a good chef !

We were a company of three and had a very pleasant lunch here during a rather hot day in October, so we sat outside. For starters we had a risotto with cepes mushrooms and the foie gras with anana compote and freshly toasted bread. For main course we had the lamb with couscous and vegetables and for desert the chocolate fondant. Everything was tasty and with a lovely presentation. The service was pleasant and efficient.

Made to feel extremely welcome, the young lady was happy to go through the menu, even though our French is limit, the food I could not fault, we had pork for our main which was cook beautifully and a Mushroom Risotto that was rich light and not too overpowering, Absolutely will eat here again as the Duck looked fabulous. Thank you

The lady boss is abrupt , borderline impolite .Food is average and too expensive for what is served. The terrace is near a parking lot where screaming school kids spend their lunch time .Avoid.

Excellent food, very good price, good wine, very friendly, recommended, may be again in the Future. We are from Belgium.
