Star and celestial quality without the pomp and circumstance of the Michelin starred restaurants with a charming view and an incredible location. I started with being offered some wonderful, homemade pickles and potato salad, and pesto with chips and bread. Amazing !!! then after some talk with the head waiter decided on going for a tuna belly menu. Totally high-level cuisine gormande I had a four hour lunch alone where I was not bored for one second and I didn’t want to stop eating because everything I ate was scrumptious delectable and ineffable. AND AFFORDABLE HEAVEN and so so not pretensious. BRAVO GONZALO
He venido varias veces y estoy temiéndome terminar haciéndome asiduo. Sus platos son exquisitos. Muy agradables los camareros y buenos profesionales que consiguen hacer de la velada una auténtica experiencia exquisita. Me gustaron mucho los cuatros platos que degustamos. Pedimos Ensalada de tomates antiguos con caballa ahumada, Canelones de rabo de toro, Sama a la brasa con arroz meloso de calamar y mollejas que, por cierto, estaban exquisitas. Para el postre nos dejamos seducir por las sugerencias que nos ofrecieron. Un acierto!

Each of our many visits to Tenerife gratifies us with one new restaurant that exceedes expectation. This time it was La Sandunga. Already the approach is exciting, especially if you arrive at night. Dark and strange. But then, immediatelly when you enter, you start to feel the full commintment. From the interior design, no nonsense all the time friendly staff to the food and selection of wines a pure pleasure. They resisted to fall into the Michelin guide trap with unique authenticity. Pure foodie pleasure.
Excellent from start to finish. Our Waiter who’s name I forget, sorry!! (his ex girlfriend was from Liverpool) was superb and so knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu. The restaurant was lovely and every piece of food was divine. Will definitely return when I am next in the area. Thank you for a great night.
great gastronomic experience, I had not had the pleasure to visit them and finally came the day, everything is excellent in that house, great service, some amazing dishes, a wonderful location and beautiful place, my most congratulations to the entire team that we will see soon
Llegamos y había muy poca gente. Para ser Canarias me parece bastante caro. La comida rica, pero no diría que espectacular. El ceviche muy sabroso. El bol de atún y arroz muy original y sin duda lo mejor la entraña a la brasa. Servicio agradable y bonitas vistas a los viñedos
