We were in France with our entire family consisting of 11 persons 5 of whom were kids and we had a fantastic evening at La Scala with two other friends...so a party of 13! The owner had agreed to take a pre-arrival order from us because of our number and this worked really well. From our arrival to the finish of the meal we were looked after very well and the food, especially all the pizzas was delicious. There is a large menu to choose from with all the usual toppings as well as some more to suit the French tastes. As well as pizza there is a range of pasta and also desserts. Highly recommend this place if you are in the vicinity of Mazamet.
This was a little oasis for some hungry travellers. We sat outdoors at the breezy terrace, lovely on this hot day! The lunch formule was remarkable value at just 13 Euros for a half pizza with salad (who needs a full pizza?? , dessert and coffee. Staff were attentive and helpful. It has quite an extensive menu of pizzas, and also some steak or pasta options. The pizza was delicious, as was my wife's steak! And the dessert, tarte tatina, was superb! Nothing but praise. Excellent value.
It would seem to be sacrilegious to eat Italian food in France but when your husband is ill and only wants pasta thats what we did. Luckily this little gem was a perfect diversion. The pizza’s where thin and crispy with plenty of flavour and the pasta was fresh and portions large. The tart tatin was AMAZING!
Lionel has really refreshed this restaurant and added a great terrace for outdoor dining. The menu offers delicious pizza, and much much more... The veal milanaise is a personal favourite, but the salads and pastas are all excellent, fresh and copious. Good value for money and friendly team.
