It was as if the owner googled Mexican stereotypes and decided to place it as a tex mex place. Sombreros everywhere, the mascots on the kids meals dressed in stereotypes. It’s pretty offensive. The kids meal says ‘learn Mexican’ as if Mexican is a language? That’s news to me. Also tex mex food shouldn’t be this dry. The soft shell taco was hard. A SOFT SHELL FLOUR TACO the Mexican rice was rice but not Tex Mex at all. Service was slow like super slow and I can’t begin to understand why. Also jambalaya isn’t Tex Mex. I can excuse bad food but not the blatant disregard for culture.
Visited recently for the first time. Had a delicious meal, with cocktails and wine. The atmosphere was great, and all of the staff were friendly and professional. Lovely fresh food. Huge portions and good variety. Very accommodating for the little ones picking food. Will certainly be going back. A lovely little restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food and drinks are fantastic and very well priced . Staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Will definitely be back.
