La Siesta Beach

A very disappointing lunch. I ordered a toasted smoked salmon sandwich. It was not fresh and had obviously been prepared many hours before. Cucumber and salad leaves were wilted. It did not even look appetising. When I made a remark, the waiter was apologetic and brought me a new sandwich. This was even worse than the first one. Now the toasted ! sandwich was completely cold and directly taken from a fridge where it had been for hours. I couldn't eat it. My husband had ordered a spagetti with clams. It was less than average, the clams were small and many of them had not even opened during cooking. We complained to the person in charge. We explained that we had been recommended this restaurant and come far for it and it was disappointing. After a rather lenghy conversation we were not charged for the sandwich. But the attitude of this staff member was unbelievable. She said that their specialty was langoustine and if a person orders just a sandwich for lunch they shouldn't expect miracles. Well, if a sandwich is 18€ at least one could hope that it is fresh and edible!! It was like saying that they only put effort in cooking langoustine and nothing else is worth ordering i.e. eating there. Never again!!

We had been here about 10 years ago and came back for lunch, which was unfortunately ruined by the terrible attitude of one of the waiters. My wife thought that her chicken was undercooked and although she wasn’t going to say anything, she was persuaded to have a word with the waiter. His response could not have been more disappointing. He said “probleme” and then walked away. It turned out that the person next to us also had an issue with her chicken. His attitude completely destroyed the whole atmosphere and we certainly won’t be back. Arrogance beyond belief

Un des meilleurs de l'Ile Rousse Bel endroit près de la plage, populaire parmi les corsicans et les touristes, ouvert d'avril à octobre Très occupé dans l'été Bon menu de poisson parmi d'autres plats Desserts fabuleux aussi très pro staff

On est allés dîner. Personnel très sympathique, super agréables apéritifs à partager (trop comme entrée . Excellente nourriture, grandes portions..too grande même pour avoir un dessert, même si nous envions les voisins qui ont fait :

Good location, italian/italian speaking staff, wonderful food, clean and confortable. Prices are not high, top quality service, we were over the moon about gelato.
