Once again we were walmly welcomed at la Source and the meals we had were excellent. The pizzas are probably some of the best you will ever eat. However, this is the place to come to sample some of Corsica's specialities from traditional charcuterie to the wonderul wild boar stew, veal in olives, stuffed aubergines (stuffed with the delicious local cheese) or lovely fish dishes - and the best way to try these is to share one of the tasting platters - although you may want to go back for more as the dishes are so delicious! The view from the terrace is lovely in the daytime and in the evening you can watch the lights of the mountain villages slowly appear as the sune sets.
The views from the back terrasse are great. A complete view up to Olmeto and down the valley to Propriano. We came for lunch after doing a long hike. The service was very prompt and friendly. Two of us had pizza,which was great and done in the wood burning oven. Another had the tartare which was a huge serving. The flavors were very good, but missing the capers. The restaurant has a very good wine selection, with about a 2x price over the winery prices.We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it.
We have visited the restaurant twice in a week. Mainly because the food is actually pretty good and the restaurant has a convenient location. The service however is noteworthy, mainly because it's truly horrible, even for French standards. Getting a menu after 30 min, not receiving orders, one person getting is food while the other has to wait, and more like this. If you decide to go, be prepared and take a book, and maybe something small to eat while you wait, wait and wait.
We are so happy, that we found this restaurant. Wild boar, great quality. Beef tartar, never see so huge! Calzone pizza, wow, wanna try all pizzas on the menu. Source salad, never experienced something like this. Spagetti carbonara, just beautiful. Must try wine myrte and wine castagne, excelent as aperitif. And mostly, nice ale always smiling staff. Well done, La Source!!

Belle nourriture dans un endroit magnifique. C'est agréable de regarder les martinets survoler Olmeto alors que la lumière du soir s'estompait. La nourriture, les spécialités corses, les pizzas et le menu enfant, étaient délicieuses et d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le cadre est parfait et le personnel très sympathique.
Stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. Food was excellent even if we all had different dishes (duck, stuffed peppers, pasta with gambas and salad). Everything tasty and good and friendly service. Yes it is not cheap but nothing is in corsica. Definitely worth the little detour away from the tourist traps close-by.
Nous avons commandé une pizza à emporter la première nuit, notre fils a pensé que c'était la meilleure pizza qu'il n'ait jamais mangée et c'est un jeune gourmand. Le soir suivant, nous avons dîné au restaurant et nous n'avons pas été déçus, la cuisine était très corse et absolument délicieuse.
Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans ce restaurant, facilement accessible depuis le parking gratuit d'Olmeto. On y sert une cuisine locale, avec une option de dégustation de 4 plats typiques. Assurez-vous de réserver une table en extérieur pour profiter de la vue !

Restaurant with friendly staff and local dish. We had mix of local salami, tartar, duck breast, tiramisu and everything was delicious. I tasted chestnusts wine that you can buy here as well as other products. We were really satisfied.
