Arrivant là vers midi, nous nous sommes assis à l'une des tables devant le restaurant, qui n'étaient pas dressées pour le déjeuner, car nous avions l'intention de prendre juste un café et un dessert. Au lieu d'un accueil, nous avons été rapidement informés froidement par la serveuse qu'ils ne servaient pas de boissons mais uniquement de la nourriture. Même si cela devrait être courant en France (ce que je ne peux pas affirmer car je n'ai jamais rencontré une situation similaire auparavant), j'aurais sincèrement souhaité un peu d'effort en matière de politesse. This auberge is just up the road from where we stayed this summer, and very attractive it is too. We sat outside, it is right on the road but there is very little traffic here so it is not a problem. This is a family run operation, and very well done. Great welcome from the lady owner, waitresses were her 2 daughters and the chef is her husband. The wine list is in a "cave" where they store the wine , you go in and make your selection and they serve it for you. "friture de truite" (deep fried trout ) is a speciality around here, the rivers are full of them! Very good it was too, as was the whole experience. A great place!

An open, welcoming restaurant in a valley with towering chalk cliffs with sources of three rivers within walking distance even for older travellers) The staff were friendly, accomodating those with perfect French. Service was surprisingly good considering the number of patrons. The food was plentiful and delicious: we would reccomend both the area Baumes les Dames) and this auberge
Nous avons passé un excellent repas. Les ingrédients étaient locaux et frais, une cuisine créativement présentée. Les portions étaient généreuses. Le service était excellent. Le restaurant a une ambiance merveilleuse. Le chef propriétaire, Stéphane Turillon, a créé une excellente expérience culinaire. Ça vaut vraiment le détour.
