We almost avoided this place because of a few bad reviews, but we were so pleasantly surprised with our first dinner there that we went back again the next night. The first night we arrived a tad early I suppose - 7:30 - the door was open so we waltzed in, the waiter seated us anyway and apologised that we would have to wait while the staff had their dinner. That was fine with us, we ordered a bottle of wine and spent 20 minutes perusing the menu, chatting and munching on the bowl of olives and bread sticks they gave us. A note on the wine, it was fine but the 2nd night we ordered the house white which was cheaper and much nicer! We also made sure not to arrive until after 8pm. The staff were very friendly, and I could see that some of the customers on both our nights there were regulars as they were very chatty with them. I don't smoke but those customers that do could take their wine and sit outside in front of the restaurant for a smoke between courses. My wife had the warm goats cheese salad which is very large and looked scrumptious. My daughter had the spaghetti and pesto, and she approved - she can be very picky so this is a big thumbs up for fresh quality ingredients! My mother-in-law had the ravioli bolognese and was happy. I tasted it and loved the sauce, so ordered tagliatelle bolognese on the 2nd night. The first night however was my total win experience - I ordered the Penne don Corleone, which was a taste sensation! It is very much like a lasagna, it came in its own baking dish, but it also has capers, olives, eggplant and ham, along with the pasta, cheese and tomato sauce, so every bite was a different combination of flavours. Normally I would not eat that much, the dish is pretty large, but I could not leave a single bite behind. The second night my mother-in-law ordered a spicy pizza and was very pleased with it. My wife and daughter had repeats of the meals they had the previous night, and I had the tagliatelle bolognesse. Much as I was tempted to have the Penne don Corleone again I just was not hungry enough for it. However this did leave room for dessert! I asked if the tiramisu is made in-house, which it is - otherwise I would not have bothered. On that night the chef had made it with limoncello instead of espresso. It was delicious! Both nights my daughter had the Dame Blanche for dessert, which is a very large sundae. The bills for each night came to €74 and €78 which is pretty reasonable for 4 main courses plus wine and one or two desserts.I saw other tables getting their starters and main courses, it all looked yummy to me. I was worried because some reviewers were not impressed with the pizza, but it all looked pretty scrumptious to me and we were all very pleased with the dishes we ordered. Would easily go again when we return to Antibes.

We had a meal here this evening, drinks were good. House wine excellent , coke was good, beer was excellent, even the water was good......food was below the standard we would expect. We ordered 4 pizzas, all were laidand with salt, 1pizza was inateable.... Trust me, anchovies, olives herbs & a tonne of salt! I feared for my health, even the margarita & pepperoni pizza were extremely salty....above recommended levels..... My family fell out with me cause I complained .....hey ruined an evening out....for the pleasure €62 euro! Chef seemed nice but the waitress not so much!!..if you don't speak fluent french don't go!!

Very nice menu with a diverse offer of FRESH daily platters mixing sea food and meats. I personally had moules that were exquisite. The others had pastas, ravioli and pizzas. Everyone agreed it was nice. Desserts are home made and the banana and chocolate ricotta is worth it
