Looking for a place to meet friends for lunch somewhere between Aix and St Maximin, we stumbled upon this very nice find. The hostess warmly greeted us and was happy to answer all our questions and tell us a bit about how their business started with her great grandmother and has been in the family since. I selected the 35€ menu which includes a plat, a cheese plate, and a dessert. Others at the table had an entrée as well as a plat, so while they ate their entrée, the host brought the rest of us an amuse-bouche to occupy us until the plats arrived. Nice touch. It was a sample sized dish of a carrot velouté garnished with crunchy, finely diced peppers and perhaps celery. It reminded us a bit...

I 've been to this restaurant during a business trip in the Provence. Went for a lunch and was so pleased with this choice. Very friendly, open kitchen, good wine, amazing food. Starting with their own marinated olives, followed by a 'piece de boeuf and ended the lunch with a coffee. Simple?! Yes maybe, but everything was just perfect. A place to remember for , I hope, a next stay in this lovely region.

We went here before going to the summerhouse in Aix en Provence. Really a joy , this is what a restaurant should be. An amazing champagne, la Tsarine, of Lancon, the best gratin we ever had , lobster and lamb . The people are very friendly , it’s a family business with a long history . 5 days later , we returned here with our sons and they also enjoyed the menu . At the end you get home made meringues .

Very good restaurant, open kitchen in a lovely old building. We had a great select menu, with guinea fowl and beef, both delicious. The starter of crouton with truffles was a highlight of the holiday! We were the only customers that night and we had wonderful service. Provençal posh cuisine, on the expensive side, but worth the money.
