Our hotel reception recommended this restaurant as the hotel restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived. The food was just outstanding - all prepared in house. Cold tomato soup with basil sorbet gives perhaps a flavour of the style of cooking. There were three or four menus to choose from - catering for the poor soul on a diet to someone (ie my husband) who was out to make the most of this opportunity to sample local produce beautifully cooked. The service was excellent - with a little presentation when the dish was brought to the table. The decor was, to our eyes, unusual but don't hesitate for a moment - you'll not regret it.

This restaurant was recommended to us and did not dissapoint. Pure Old school decor and service. All linen and beautifully set out tables. Couples, families and businessmen were all enjoying their evenings. The service was efficient and friendly (dog welcome) the food was well prepared and the chef presented the courses with an explanation of each dish. Amazed to see people being turned away as 8pm approached, make sure you book. There is a hotel attached hence the dated entrance. Don't be put off.

Classig french cooking with meny inspired by the golden days at the end of 19th century going into the 20th century. Dining rooms inspired from the 1920ies. Recomend booking Your table since regular pairs as well as solitary customers do visit restaurant on a regular basis. Take Your time and enjoy! Mr Frick

Pleasant food with a cheerful staff. The service was quite slow and the offered menu was limited. One of the more elegant of the dining rooms in which we ate on our trip. Very European of the 50's and 60's.
