This new small restaurant in a quiet square just off of the main pedestrian mall is quite a gem. We tried the fish dish of the day and the chef's gastro version of paella. Both were excellent and beautifully presented with amazing attention to detail. We even ordered a side of French fries when we saw the waiter walk by with an order and found out they were freshly cut and homemade... they were perfect. The desserts were also homemade and very tasty. I got the craquelin dessert made with locally grown peanuts. My husband got the baba pastry with fresh fruit and armagnac. He said it was the best baba he's ever had. Such high quality, fresh and tasty food takes a bit longer, but is well worth the wait. Highly recommend.
Such a great place. Very pro service explaining everything as needed, letting us taste two different wines in order to decide whether we preferred one or another together with our choice. Food was pretty good, highlighting the grilled shrimps (3 of them) with an aubergine base and the duck magret which was outstanding. Perfect veggie cooked accompanied it plus a sweet and salty mix of tomatoes and berries. Strongly recommend them both The price of the menu was 46 eur bcuz of being a national holiday. Maybe to be reviewed a bit As drawbacks clearly the dessert which was just normal and the looks that is just alright Overall 4.5 out of 5 for me.
belle découverte, des plats très raffinés basés sur des produits frais et locaux. un duo de passionnés qui privilégient la qualité, le soin, le courtois et le service professionnel. de l'entrée au dessert est un vrai plaisir. J'ai apprécié un choix de vins Landese de qualité en entrée. ce jeune restaurant peut rivaliser avec de grandes tables. Merci, ne change rien !
de passage à vieux boucau nous avons choisi le restaurant selon les commentaires et nous n'avons pas été déçus accueillant le plus chaud. menus d'entrée plats desserts velours berline excellent cuisinier d'excellentes crevettes. boeuf cuisine parfait avec des frites maison. Assiette de fromage du pays basque excellente découverte .merci sandrine et ses amis
