This small village bistro is obviously popular within the village, as it was full upon our arrival. So full, in fact, that the single waitress was obviously strained to keep up. When seated down, we waited a very, very long time to even be shown the menu. I was under the impression, the whole time, of being made to feel very much aware that our party were the outsiders in the local midst and service seemed to reflect this. Salmon terrine starter was okay; not quite what I expected though that is potentially my fault, but tasted of an average blend of compacted fish. Nous sommes allés déjeuner dans ce restaurant et avons été très satisfaits de ce choix. L'endroit est spécialisé dans la viande qui est très bonne. La viande est coupée épaisse ce qui est parfait pour garantir une cuisson parfaite. Tout semble être fait maison et la serveuse est extrêmement gentille et professionnelle donc je recommande vivement cet endroit. We arrived at our hotel early so decided to take a walk through the village to find somewhere to have a late lunch we found this little place and what a find it was! Lovely homemade food with excellent quality meat. My husband really enjoyed his veal steak beautifully cooked. We were recommended a bottle of the local red wine fabulous! The service was great. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area!
My wife and I had a very nice dinner from the 3 course menu. At 25 euros, it was very well priced, and the food was delicious. The roasted bone marrow was prepared perfectly, and the steak tartare was truly excellent with just the right amount of seasoning. The wine was fine, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Salle et jouets pour les enfants. Propriétaires très sympathiques également. La viande est très bonne avec des portions généreuses. Une excellente surprise sur notre route vers Bordeaux. Bien mieux qu'une simple pause sur l'autoroute!

J'ai eu un déjeuner agréable à la Table du Boucher avec trois amis lors de notre voyage dans la région. Le couple qui tient cet endroit était charmant, la nourriture était délicieuse et authentique de la cuisine française !
