La Takiza Escondido

Ordered a California burrito without Pico it was just cheese and Carne asada no guacamole or fries : . Not to mention the first half of my burrito was mainly just tortilla. Burrito was definitely lacking. I thought maybe they charged me for a Carne asada burrito but no I checked my receipt. Super bummed the reviews looked promising. Overall the burrito was okay, too much cheese for my taste. Only thing I liked was the green salsa, it had a nice kick.

The place is big and one can dine in now. The tacos are quite expensive but are good. When finishing ordering one has to check the receives cause they sometimes charge an extra soda h check the food sometimes also forget an ingredient or 2. There is restrooms and are open for use.

Overall good experience. Their tacos Al pastor are not my favorite but I love their cabeza tacos. I like that fact that their tortilla are freshly made. Salsas are okay

My favorite Mexican place. Good tacos. Fresh onions, cilantro, etc. I stop by when I am in Escondido.
