We were hitting some of the great cafes and bars in the wonderful Plaza De Las Comendadoras and decided to drop into La Taqueria De Birra and what a great find. The interior is amazing, purple neon lit,it has great wall art, nice decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cool Mexican tavern both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Plaza De Las Comendadoras. We were here on a Thursday late afternoon and this place was just starting to get busy with a great atmosphere ,as it was a roasting hot afternoon we decided to sit outside were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a beer each,we opted to have bottles of Cerveza Pacifico Clara ,these bottles of beer were served with a big slice of lemon . This beer was perfect, a really tasty hoppy beer served iced cold we just chilled out and planned out the day ahead in this vibrant city while sipping our beers. The beer was really good, as much as I enjoy the local brews such as Mahou beer and San Miguel beer it's just so good trying a different beer style and Cerveza Pacifico Clara was a really good beer,we moved on after our delicious beers and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great tavern. La Taqueria De Birra is really easy to locate, we jumped the metro down to stop San Bernardo were we walked down Calle De San Bernardo were we cut onto Calle De Quiñones which brings you onto Plaza De Las Comendadoras. A great bar and well worth checking out.
