I really enjoy this place and dine here often—the food is consistently good. However, their customer service could use some improvement. I understand they get very busy, but answering the phone with a simple greeting would help a lot. I called multiple times with no answer until someone finally picked up but immediately put me on hold without letting me know, leaving me waiting on the line with no response. After hanging up and trying again repeatedly with no luck, I decided to visit in person. I ordered takeout and waited about 20 minutes, which was fine, but when I went to pick up my food, no one acknowledged me while I was standing there. I had to ask if my order was ready. I visited La Taqueria Dedham for the first time, and I can assure you that I will return! The food was fantastic—I had ground beef tacos with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and cheese, as well as chicken fingers with fries. The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant had a clean atmosphere, and parking was easy to find. The owner, Diana, was there to greet me and offer assistance; she is truly wonderful—so kind and considerate. I will definitely be back. If you're looking for a great dining experience, do yourself a favor and check this place out!

I'm really disappointed. La Taqueria is usually our go-to spot for a quick family dinner, and their delivery is typically lightning fast. I placed my order tonight at 5:23, with an estimated delivery time of 6:21, which was already longer than usual. Now it's 7:07, and we're still waiting. It's past the time we usually get the kids ready for bed on a school night, and we still have no dinner. I called 20 minutes ago and was told it was on its way, but we're still empty-handed. I'm not impressed. The food is usually good, but if you're short on time, you might want to think twice about ordering.
La Taqueria is nicely decorated but the enjoyment stops there. We had tacos and a salad, and both lunches disappointed in quality and were a poor value. Chicken in one taco and beef in the second were tough. The salad was a very ordinary foodservice salad. Any extras are pricey. Although we ate at the counter, and said we were eating in, we were charged a takeout feeand our lunches were handed to us in a big paper bag, and packed for takeout, which seems to be the only method. An unattractivesystem, and generated lots of trash, another negative. Parking is tight, with only a handful of spots.

Sad. We enjoy the food, staff is nice and we want to go back. We can't anymore. La Taqueria screwed up dinners and parties for us so often that we had to give up. Mistakes happen but ownership does not give staff the training or power to the makesituations right. Too many orders with missing items we paid for but did not receive, followed by one 35 minute delay after thenext, no refunds for any mistake yet and tough parking. Way too much hassle. Not worth it.
It would be great if the staff could handle orders more accurately. Almost every time I order lunch at work, they mess up my order and leave out items. It's really disappointing! I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to double-check the order before packing it. I just want to enjoy my lunch during my break, but today’s order took an hour and a half.
Nice place but a bit pricey for the quality of food. I didn’t really enjoy my avocado fries or beer battered fish taco. Both were fried in old oil and lacked in taste. I also ordered quesadillas w/ fries and a chicken bowl with beans which was alright. The lemonade was the best however.
The restaurant offers a great selection and a variety of freshly made dishes. I've tried many items from the menu and found most of them impressive. The service is quick, and the tortas are absolutely fantastic.

The steak for the fajitas was pretty good, but you'll need to assemble them yourself. The steak and peppers come in one box, while the wraps, lettuce, cheese, rice, and beans are all in separate containers.
Excellent fresh ingredients, reasonable prices, and friendly staff.
