Comme le titre le dit, tout était super, avec un bel cadre assis dehors près du château sous un grand parasol au soleil du soir. Typiquement, ici en France, nous avons apprécié un repas de trois plats avec du vin pour moins de 80 euros. Foie gras en entrée, j'ai pris Emince de volaille (poulet à la crème avec des champignons et de la sauce) et mon partenaire a pris Piccata Milanese (veau) pour les plats principaux, suivis d'une mousse aux fraises pour le dessert. We were staying with friends close-by near Bourran and called here for evening dinner. As the title suggests, everything was great, with a lovely setting sat outside near the chateau under a large umbrella in the evening sunshine.Typically relaxing here in France, the four of us enjoyed a three course meal with wine for under 80 euros. Foie gras for starters - I had emince volaille(cream chicken with mushrooms and sauce) and my partner had piccata milanese(veal) for mains followed by strawberry mousse for dessert. Wine was a bottle of Chateau Lagrange 2010 at a very realistic price. Patricia who owns the chateau was our host, taking multi-tasking to a whole new level and spent time chatting...
we had reserved for a family meal for 30 people. The place is very well, in a very well renovated barn, the meal more than average, but above all a not friendly welcome, the owners did not make themselves to the region, nor to its inhabitants and at 3 p.m., it had to decay! We only had acid reflections! No tea? The dessert buffet was summed up at two parked desserts! Anyway, nothing transcendent! Too bad because the place is pleasant ....
Un déjeuner entre amis fut un grand succès. Nous avons été accueillis par les sympathiques propriétaires Patricia et Werner et encouragés à rester jusqu'en début de soirée comme nous le souhaitions. Nous avons joué à la pétanque et nous sommes promenés dans les beaux jardins et forêts. Nous avons apprécié le thé et le gâteau de l'après-midi. À recommander vivement.

A mid day meal celebration for my friends was a great success. We were all made most welcome by the friendly owners Patricia and Werner and were encouraged to stay as long into early evening as we wished. We played boules and walked around the beautiful gardens and forest.We enjoyed afternoon tea and cakes. Only left at 6pm! Well recommended.
J'ai eu le nouveau poulet au Gouda sur brioche avec une salade de jardin en accompagnement. Menu assez standard. La brioche n'a pas ajouté grand-chose à la saveur globale.
Great location the stuff are nice and it's a great place to hang out and try the spicy chicken sandwich and the nachos and the fries it's so fresh and salty
After trying all the local restaurants we give the lacaze tavern 10 out of 10 for the atmosphere, value, morals and presentation of tasty foods.
