After having two great experiences in restaurants in Meribel, we found Le Croco a little less appealing in regards to quality, price and atmosphere. If you are thinking of trying this restaurant please know that most of the items on the menu must be ordered in advance of your arrival when you make the reservation, local dishes such as fondue, so try to find the menu online to review. There were four adults in our party and we ordered fondue for two when we made the reservation and assumed the the other two in our party would have a nice selection of alternatives to choose from but not so. We had a lovely evening with excellent food for my husband, my son and me. We pre-ordered our raclette plate for 3 people. It was so delicious. Not like your average grilled cheese. We placed diced potatoes with a topping of different cheeses, bacon and a creamy sauce and grilled panfuls under our individual charcoal grill on our table. Served with salad and pickles it was delicious. Way better value than some of the places we had considered booking in Meribel. Lovely friendly service with lots of attention to detail and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely aperitif to begin for me, and a fabulous meaty red wine. Quality food and people in a fairly low key appearance venue.

Great food, friendly service and a really good atmosphere. We had the tartiflette and fondue specials which were delicious and more than enough food for all of us. Highly recommended

Very limited options on menu. Starters were two options fit for rabbits and mains only burgers. Food was also cold when served.

The cheese fondue we had was really tasty, the staff were lovely and welcoming. A well run place, good value too.
