Amazing Food! I was craving good Italian food and amazing garlic bread. La Tavolata far exceeded our expectations! I'm so glad we finally went after having it bookmarked for so long. We started with their fried calamari (excellent! and their delicious, perfect garlic bread. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed a salmon and spaghetti special (don't remember the name with lemon caper sauce and sautéd veggies. I had the best lasagna I've ever had. The combination of the red sauce in the lasagna with the the béchamel sauce that was poured on half of it was superb. We will definitely be going back to try something new. Can't wait!
I called on Wednesday to make a reservation for Thursday, and I'm glad I did since the restaurant is quite small inside. We were seated right away, and our server was very friendly. Masks are mandatory. The kitchen is essentially part of the dining area, and they prepare their pastas, sauces, and desserts in-house every day. Before the meal, they served us delicious garlic bread. We ordered three Fettuccine Romano, lasagna, and spaghetti with frutti di mare. You can tell that everything is made fresh, and the flavors were spot on. We all loved our dishes and will definitely be returning.
I usually order the Pappardelle Vodka without prosciutto since I'm vegetarian, but they're always happy to add mushrooms for me. Their vodka sauce is one of the best I've tasted, and the pappardelle pasta is cooked just right. Just thinking about this place makes my mouth water! It’s definitely a must-try restaurant!
One downside is that since COVID, they've only been open in the evenings, which makes it tough for us since we used to visit during the afternoons when the kids were at school.
The food was great, as always. My only disappointment was that there wasn't any fresh cracked black pepper available. One of the hostesses mentioned this, but honestly, I don't think she understood what I was asking about because I'm pretty sure they have it. They always do! I ordered the chicken tortellini, ravioli bolognese, Caesar salad, spaghetti southern, and chicken Alfredo, all of which were delicious.

The pasta dishes at this restaurant are outstanding, and the service staff is attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning soon. The restaurant is nice, but the seating is limited. I hope they expand to accommodate larger groups. It would also be great if they added more appetizers, kids' options, and meat dishes like steaks to their menu. Overall, everything is wonderful!
Our server was attentive and incredibly helpful. He answered all our questions about the menu and even made some recommendations that we ended up trying and absolutely loving. The Italian food is freshly prepared to order, ensuring that your meal is hot and enjoyable—not just the plate. We also received delicious complimentary bread, which was a nice touch.
The place is cozy and they make you feel right at home. The owner is always welcoming and nice. The food is excellent. Fresh ingredients and you can taste the Italian authenticity of the dishes. The homemade tiramisu is always something to look forward to. Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommended.
