La Terrasse - Réserver une table

If your party is happy with its own company and likes to hear each other when having a conversation, then La Terrasse is an ideal venue. The quality of the food and the the way in which it is presented and served are excellent. It is always good to find a steak cooked to your liking and vegetables that still have some texture, but the variety and standard of the dishes offered on the 'Menu' option and 'à la carte' are enough for everyone, I suspect. If you like a pudding, you must try the brioche pain perdu.It was quiet on the Tuesday night we went for a birthday meal, but that suited us very well. We had all eaten here before, so hoped for a consistent experience. We were not disappointed and will undoubtedly be eating here again. An additional attraction is that the restaurant is usually open and you can book a table: two features not always apparent in this corner of the Vendée and Deux-Sèvres.

Nous avons trouvé cet hôtel/restaurant par hasard et nous sommes tellement contents de l'avoir fait. Un accueil chaleureux et la dame qui possède ce merveilleux hôtel/restaurant parle anglais. Notre chambre était magnifique avec vue sur la vallée. Nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps, nous avons pu prendre notre repas à l'extérieur, ce qui l'a rendu encore meilleur si c'était possible. Un grand choix sur le menu et des prix raisonnables. Le petit-déjeuner était servi sous forme de buffet, mangez autant ou aussi peu que vous voulez. Nous étions tristes de partir.

We came across this Logis by chance at the end of a day's travel. What a find! Although the town doesn't have much to offer, and La Terrasse not in the centre, the views from the front of the hotel are lovely.The restaurant offers superb cuisine in either the pleasant dining room, or, weather permitting, outside in the garden.The husband and wife proprietors offer a very high standard of service at this 'remote' establishment.You will not be disappointed by making the effort to find this Logis/restaurant.

Très restaurant accueillant avec un menu varié. Tous les plats choisis ont été magnifiquement cuits et présentés, des amuses-bouche artistiques au plat flambé à table. Le personnel est heureux de discuter des ingrédients des différents plats et la plupart parlent anglais.

This is a very pleasant restaurant but the night we visited it was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. The service was very good and efficient. The food was well cooked and presented. The house wine served in a jug was very expensive and was served warm!
