Lucky we had enough cash on us to pay, as we found out they don't accept credit cards and there is no cash point in the village. I had the brandade de morue which was delicious, but on the small side. Wish I'd had a starter as well. My friend had a pizza, which was ok, nothing special, but at least home made. The waitress moved a couple from a large table with a good view, and o a small table with no view, even though it was nealy 1400 and not busy, which i thought was mean. Basically a simple lunch, reasonably priced but really annoying about the credit card. They should tell you at the beginning. It is written on the menu, but i was just looking at the food and mised it.
If you are lucky enough to read this before you arrive in Minerve then heed my warning. AVOID.We waited 10 minutes before being given a bottle of water, which i had to ask for three times. We waited 10 minutes more before being given a menu and were asked to order right then and there. We asked for a minute but then waited another 10 minutes. We ordered 2 x pizzas but they took 1 hour. After the hour i asked when we could expect some food and was told rather rudely and very loudly to "wait" At that point, two other guests left as they had the same issues. The waiter was horrid, he shouted at us and his boss did nothing to help.GO elsewhere. Or suffer the consequences.
Looked a nice place to sit and eat-It was. The Pizzas were more than adequate, and were cooked in full view in the kitchens, and the beer helped relieve the exhaustion of a morning spent wandering around Minerve. I would certainly call in again. (PS The failure to give another star was due to the staff smoking in front of the kitchen door-smoke drifting into the cooking area.)
On apprécie quand il ne pleut pas une très belle vue sur le pont. Accueil chaleureux et amical et grand professionnalisme de l'équipe présente aujourd'hui. Qualité du repas servie autour de la table. Une formule de 3 plats à un prix justifié par rapport à la qualité des plats servis. Nos amis en Belgique étaient sous le charme. Merci encore au patron pour sa gentillesse.
10 Euros will buy you a Pizza with thin and crispy base and a choice of nearly 20 toppings. Avoid Nina with potato and cheese and you should be OK! A good selection of typical Local cuisine and the house wine is good! The owners numerous cats and little Yorkshire terrier will entertain you while you enjoy your meal! Don't miss the Peach Melba for desert!
C'était un excellent moment passé sur la terrasse, avec une vue magnifique et une cuisine irréprochable, mes compliments au chef. Le service au sommet, avec sourire et convivialité! De nos jours... Je le recommande sans aucune hésitation. Arrête de revenir dans la région.
