We had spent the morning at an annual Pottery Fete in a town about 10 minutes’ drive from Montpeyroux. I had made reservations for the four of us and we were early. Parking was easy. The table was shaded by one of the large courtyard trees and, although the temperature was high, there was a breeze. All four of us ordered the luncheon menu. Each of the courses was unlike any dish I have eaten anywhere, and each was superb! To be totally honest, I’m not exactly sure what was served in each dish but the ingredients created a texture and taste that was memorable.
