We live in Spain and have pride in telling our friends that the best food in the world is found throughout the Iberian peninsula. Well the food we had for dinner was the worst we have ever had ! The fish was twice under cooked. The “migas “ , normally a simple country dish was appalling: no other words to describe it. The pate inedible. The staff were most kind and efficient: no complaints there. However the team in charge of the kitchen need a serious upgrade. They should work on good simple dishes and do them well! Very convenient if you are staying at the hotel.Basic cooking, the menus created to fit the amazingly reasonable price of 12 euro.I had rice (with hint of shrimp) starter, main course of two sausages halved with a bit of lettuce, then blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Wine is cheap enough, but if you enjoy real Spanish cuisine, you won't get it here!This is the daily menu; you may do better with a la carte but we didn't try it as the daily menu is heavily publicised in the hotel.
