Ten of us came here for dinner, ranging across three generations. The food was fine I had a pizza and creme brule and the service was friendly, if not exactly swift. The real star was the location and the atmosphere. There was a great...band playing covers and lots of people were milling around waiting to have dinner or having just finished. The whole area was really buzzy and people were definitely enjoying themselves. The whole place was full of kids so, while there were people out for a romantic dinner, it’s really more of a family destination.
we ate here and not in the hotel to which we lived, and the cost of the hotel were about the same as the hotel on buffet night for person. we had the Italian brot dressed with olives and balsamico vinegar/olive oil a lasagna...now and divided an salate that was washed with a large beer. the portions were huge and it was the best lasagne I tasted outside italian. the bill came under euro, which we both thought excellent given the quality of food and represented great value for money.
always enjoy them eating here, have tried some of the dishes and can highly recommend the sauteed prawns spaghetti and my favorites, the huhn florentina all the staff are very friendly and great with the children. last year there was something thunder and lightening that my daughter always frightened, but the waitress took her inside and showed her the pizza oven and the chef who made a pizza until it stopped thanking and see her next year!
This used to be a fabulous place to go, a good “go to” for the location, entertainment, kids can been seen from the tables but now sadly it’s just become complacent. Slow service, average food and cold pizzas with hard congealed cheese. All sent...back and came back slightly hotter with fresh cheese heaped on top. Didn’t stay for desserts we went across to the ice cream and waffle place as nobody came back to take our order. Réservez une table maintenant
The restaurant has a great spot overlooking the sea. The food though, let 's it down. There is nothing wrong with it perse, it 's just a bit 'meh as my teenage son would say. It 's ok but nothing to write home about and not a place...I would recommend. What didn 't help was the live band that set up in the square outside, which was loud and annoying. Shame.
