Strolling through Uriage les Bains, looking for a nice place to eat, we did see the sign, but first decided to go for other options. In the end, one option we could not find, the other was out of business, so we ended up in La Tour Maline (on a Monday evening). To cut a long story short: we had a good meal. A gazpacho and ceviche, both good, not excellent (the gazpacho a little sweet, the ceviche could have had a tad more acid). Then poultry and pork in millefeuille, both good and with a lot of vegetables and pomme gratin on the side. Tarte au citron to finish, in something that looked like a cannelone, but then of cookie dough. Nespresso coffee, but the wine was excellent (viognier d'Ardeche). The decor matched the meal: quite good, better than in other restaurants in the area, but a little haphazard (someone's umbrella, bag and coat were hanging off a wall behind the counter in plain sight, why?).If you're in Uriage les Bains on a Monday night, there is no better place to go to unless you'd want to pay through the teeth (at le Grand Hotel).
