a little hard to find in a deep valley, I had eaten there more than 20 years ago. We didn't have to book. the restaurant is in an ideal setting close to the river, next to the cliff. from our arrival we are warned more room in the room so it will be on the balcony what is best the view is beautiful. There's a lot of premises coming to eat. The map is tightened. We've taken bite crusts, snails, blue trouts, season pie, ice cut. The restaurant is very family-friendly. all the dishes are very good, the portions are generous. trouts are caught at the last moment, a feast. It is just a shame that the outside is not in the image of the dishes. there are a few flower balconies, and better to see the fish farms that are a real asset. We'll go back with pleasure but thinking about booking.
the trout of the mill is an excellent restaurant typically franc-comtois. Wherever we come, the road leading to this restaurant is in itself a beautiful objective of ballading. the site, in the midst of the bright waters of the desoubre, is magnificent. In the summer, the garden on the river offers a haven of freshness and calm. The welcome is warm. The kitchen is both a copyful and delicious one. I recommend the traditional regional specialties: an excellent bite crust, then the miller trout, of which we are sure it has just been caught in one of the basins that surround the mill. all for a very acceptable price.
I have eaten there several times and the kitchen is always as good, a tasteful and copyy grandma's kitchen: superb crusts with bits, remarkable house terrines (moreover here, everything is home). and of course, the best trout in the world (different to three weeks in a living). a must.
