We took our son in law here in May for a meal on his birthday.We have visited before and again were not disappointed.The menu is large and varied.The food is made fresh to order.The service is great and nothing is to much trouble.Between us we had Carpaccio of beef and salads for starters followed by deep fried octopus,salt cod and garlic chicken all gorgeous.A few beers,water and a bottle of wine all for 90 euros.Only downside,there are about 18 steps up too the restaurant so no wheelchair access and slow going for those with mobility problems.
Perfect setting with a veranda overlooking the coastline. Freshly prepared food which links into classic Andalucian Recipes transferred by the Chef into a fusion of past and present flavours using locally sourced ingredients. Service, presentation and taste of all dishes were excellent. The waitress spoke excellent English. Worth waiting for as they were only open towards the end of the week when we visited. Impressive winelist and very tasty deserts and coffees to finish off. Would definetly return.
W visited for dinner last year and it was really good, tried to re-book this year to find out the restaurant was closed, what a shame. Anyway the chef put on a friday evening tasting menu for just a few guests and it was brilliant. Fresh ingredients, every course was amazing, good wine, lovely lady member of staff, who did a great job of explaining to us in english. All in all well worth a visit and if you think the restaurant is closed, ask and there may be a treat waiting.
We have reviewed this before but a second review is in order. This restaurant just gets better and better. Foie gras and figs followed by Iberian Secret. IS is like a pork version of fillet steak but much better at least it is here. Restaurant much busier this season. Tempted to say booking essential . However don 't be put off they would find a way of fitting you in. Will be back maybe tomorrow! Réservez une table maintenant
You don't expect much for 5 course at €20 a head..... However, this restaurant delivers on every course. Every course was delicious, reasonable size plates aswell. The kids were happy and accommodated for also, we all left feeling very content and happy. Great setting with the best views, the while atmosphere was just perfect! Great value with friend and welcoming service.
This resturant has a full five stars in my opinion. The service, the setting, the backdrop, the food is amazing. Very reasonable price for the standard of the delicious food and drink. We will be back 100%. Do not hesitate to go to this resturant, weather you are staying in gualchos or even nearby areas like castell calahonda and so on. Its a must.
Four of us went to this restaurant during October 2017. There's nothing I can say which does not give top marks. The food, ambiance, staff, service, price, outlook, etc, were all top drawer. I wold recommend this little hotel restaurant to anyone, especially those romantics!! Steve Perry
