We had dinner here on week night as part of a large group. The service was okay considering we were 42 people. That's where anything positive ends. The food was the worst Italian food we have ever had from start to finish. You can get...better food at a shopping center food court. We paid $80.00 including tip for what I can truly say was the worst restaurant meal I have ever had. The salad of mixed greens had stale croutons and so much garlic you felt you were eating a Ceasar Salad. We ordered an appitizer of fried Calamar. At first they could not find our reservation but managed to get us a table anyway, the place looks great, the ambience is good, the menu as a lot of choices but the main course selections were a bit on the expensive side. The french...fries cooked in truffle oil and garnished with parmesan are worth the price and a must, we were told that the salmon tartar was very good but is no longer offered on the menu. We had choosen the tuna steak but there was only one left, it was OK but a bit overcooked, my wife took the spaghetti bolonaise and it was a bit ordinary, nothing to brag about! The other choices from our dinner guest were OK and full of taste. For desert our friend ordered the peanut but...
we were often to this restaurant and it is a favorit, as it is not far from home, but yesterday, when my man made the reservation for Saturday night at 5:30, he was told on the phone that we left the restaurant not...later than 7:20. even if we are likely to leave the restaurant before this time, we found it very rude and I am not sure that we are back after that. many paints we have waited for our meal when it was very busy and never we complained, I think the restaurant should offer us the same courtesy.
here is an early dinner. resto has a beautiful outside terrace and inside seats are usually so well designed. ordered her calamari and her famous lasagne with sawn and bounais sauce calamari was simple brown rings. not spectacular...for $14 but lasagne is amazing at $28. it is served with suppe or salat and can be divided between 2 people. it was delicious as well as tasteful! simply wonderful. recommend her house famous special lasagne! good service. young worker, but many server to hand.
