here it really enjoyed, with a good selection of foods for different flavors, quite traditional farewell, beautifully presented. we had to begin the Greek salat, herings and eier mayonnaise, followed by cassolette au poissons and confit de canard. desserts were crème brûlée, mousse au...chocolat, fromage blanc avec fruits îles flottantes. of which we enjoyed sitting outside on the pavement and watching rochefort past. the prices were very reasonable. I'd be happy to see you again.
Nous déjeunons un samedi une fois par mois après la marche, nous adorons ça, la nourriture est toujours très bonne, la bavette aux échalotes est fantastique, le pain vient de la boulangerie d'à côté et le service est très sympathique....Nous avons tous les samedis l'apéro et ils vous offrent une petite corbeille de pain avec de la pâte. C'est vraiment un endroit formidable où venir. Par beau temps, essayez de vous asseoir dehors et d'avoir une bonne vue sur le marché.
had a nice lunch for 7 here (17 aug). very busy bistro restaurant steak led with some daily specialties. we were disappointed that the two dishes of the day (duck confit wing skate) were sold out at 14:00, so they come there... especially for those. quality of steaks really good, although two were cooked over as per cuisson, but they were replaced by no fuss. would highly recommend visiting rochefort.
close to the Hermione and the corderie royale we found this small restaurant for lunch. We were surprised to see it was nearly fully booked on a monday at one o'clock. But soon we understood why: the service was excellent, with bottles of really cool...water on the table and renewed as soon as empty and good plat du jour for very good price 9,50 euro). Les serveurs sont sympathiques, le décor est sobre, la nourriture est très bonne, et le service est à la hauteur des attentes. De plus, le chef est venu nous voir à la fin du repas pour demander si tout s'était bien passé. En bref, ce restaurant n'a rien à reprocher, surtout pour un menu (entrée plat dessert) à 17 euros.
En entrant dans le restaurant, j'ai vu le bar rempli de locaux prenant leur verre avant le déjeuner. Le menu change tous les jours. Mais ce sont les steaks que vous avez dans ce bistro, une très bonne viande et un bon rapport qualité-prix. Le service est charmant avec le sourire.
here for lunch before visiting the hermione and accro mats. obviously by far the busiest restaurant on the street and right. is the bistro basics (multiple steak cuts tracked, bavette, etc) very good to reasonable value with good service.
