"A very comfortable motel style hotel - functional and convenient with a robust restaurant serving good food.The room was adequate with twin beds and a large shower room. Roadside hotel style but good value and with extremely helpful staff welcoming us and accommodating our bikes.The evening meal was excellent with a good choice on the menu and breakfast had a small selection of bread, fruit and croissant.All round good value."

S'il ne me trompe pas, ceci sera le premier avis du restaurant l'Abreuvoir cette année et ayant lu les commentaires précédents, je peux confirmer que la nourriture est toujours aussi bonne qu'elle a été rapportée. Nous habitons près de Nantes et avions entendu de nos voisins que l'Abreuvoir était un endroit où dîner et même passer une nuit (ou un week-end très séduisants avec du champagne et le dîner inclus... . Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Comme un autre commentaire l'a écrit, le foie gras était en fait incroyable, le meilleur que nous ayons mangé et la portion considérable. If I am not mistaken, this will be the first review of l'Abreuvoir restaurant this year and having read previous comments I can confirm that the food is still as good as it was reported to be back then. We live near Nantes and had heard from our neighbours that l'Abreuvoir was a place to dine and even spend a night (or a weekend - very tempting promotions with champagne and dinner included...). We were not disappointed. As one other contributor wrote, the foie gras was indeed amazing, the best we have eaten and the portion considerable. Des gens formidables et très serviables dans cet hôtel / restaurant. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et propres, offrant beaucoup d'espace de rangement et un coffre-fort dans l'armoire. Excellente piscine extérieure chauffée, un incontournable à utiliser. La cuisine est incroyable, avec tant de choix et une présentation soignée. Notre serveur avait un grand sens de l'humour, dommage qu'il prenne sa retraite dans 2 mois, il était très divertissant. Le petit-déjeuner était sous forme de buffet, avec autant de nourriture que vous le souhaitez. Nous reviendrons. Merci.
Un hôtel de style motel très confortable, fonctionnel et confortable, avec un restaurant robuste proposant une bonne cuisine. La chambre était suffisante avec deux lits simples et une grande salle de douche. De style Hôtel de bord de route, mais d'un bon rapport qualité-prix et avec un personnel extrêmement serviable nous accueillant, ainsi que nos... vélos. Le dîner était excellent avec un bon choix au menu et le petit déjeuner proposait une petite sélection de pain, de fruits et de croissants. Dans l'ensemble, un bon rapport qualité-prix.
A family friend treated us for lunch to experience a traditional Brittany meal. Starters was foie gras - the serving was huge. Home made by their I house chef, placed atop a sweet cake and mixed with a few greens, pickled beets and some dressing - DIVINE! Thought I couldn't finish it, but ended up cleaning my plate. The wet wine which was a specialty went great with it. Their beef tournedos and fish was also a culinary delight. It was a surprise to meet the chef who is very young and so talented. Best meal ever!

We were travelling back from France on Sunday last. After travelling for 2 hours we decided to have a break and it was lunchtime anyway. My wife tapped in to the Satnav and up this reataurant popped up. A mile or so off the road...and up a country lane. This is a country hotel with a restaurant. We had the most amazing meal ever, my pud was a grand marnier souffle that was to die for. Granted it wasn't cheap but as a friend of mine once said, good thing no cheap and cheap things, no good.

Great people running this hotel/ restaurant very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and clean, plenty of storage and a safe in the wardrobe. Superb swimming outdoor swimming pool which is heated, this is a must to use. The food is stunning, so much choice and nicely presented. The waiter we had a great sense for humour, sadly he retires in 2 months time, he was very entertaining . Breakfast was buffet, eat and much or as little as you want. Will go back.thank you .
