We visited this restaurant one evening, located in an old Pizza Hut building. It took about five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us for seating, and then another ten minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. We ordered a combination of enchiladas for one of us, Steak Ranchero for me, and street tacos for my wife. After placing our order, we finally received our chips and salsa. Our meals took around 25 minutes to arrive, and unfortunately, the street tacos were incorrect as they came without any toppings. We've been going to Shawnee Lacharreadas for a couple years now. It's a good place for really good Mexican food. Portions are big so come hungry! There was maybe once that the food wasn't EXACTLY how we had it before but so far it all has been just fine (maybe too much Goya). Service is always great as well, very attentive and fast. Ordering by phone could be improved. However, if you are clear with your order and make sure you have everything on your list it should be just fine. They do have the ability to order without talking on the phone too but I haven't tried that yet. Great place, great food, it can get a bit loud during rushes but really it's a great place to eat and relax.
On Tuesday, I had ordered 2 fajita quesadillas with no meat. Got home and they were loaded with meat and no veggies. I called and let them know the mistake, I told her I could go back the following day. I believe the waiter and I just misunderstood each other. Went in, hey quickly made me the correct order and I added extra chips salsa along with a drink that I said I'd pay for. And the gentleman that helped me said the extra was on them as well, and I am just so appreciative of the team and generosity. My family loves all 3. We are never let down. Keep it up!
I made a reservation beforehand, but when I got there everyone acted like they had no idea I was coming. They seemed flustered for some reason. Anyway, despite that, the food and margaritas were awesome, and the service was decent considering our party was 8 people. I usually go to the harding highway location but they were closed. Good to know there's another one with equally good food right across town!

Always delicious! The food feels like home-cooked meals rather than the usual restaurant offerings. The chips served with salsa and queso are fantastic. You definitely need to try the fajitas! Food rating: 5/5.
We love Lacharreda! It's right up the street from home, always extremely friendly staff, fast and hot food and absolutely delicious! Get the queso dip for your chips!
