La Chiesa - Réservation de table

Deux couples, nous avons passé une excellente soirée à La Chiesa. La situation à côté d'une église avec une magnifique vue sur le Lago Maggiore vaut déjà largement la peine de monter surtout un soir de pleine lune avec un ciel complètement dégagé après l'orage.Nous avons dégusté un excellent menu à quatre plats: Carpaggio di manzo, ravioli, steak de veau avec riz au safran, legumes et dessert. Tout était très bon combiné avec un accueil et un service très professionnels et très sympathiques.La carte des vins est très variée avec un beau choix de vins tessinois de première qualité. We live in these parts and have been wanting to try La Chiesa for some time now. This 14 point Gault Millau restaurant is located in a beautifully restored church perched on the hillside overlooking Locarno. The Christmas menu included 4 courses (with amuse bouche starter) moist fish roulade with truffles, homemade al dente ravioli, juicy duck breast with a vegetable purée, and a nut roulade with homemade gelato to finish. Each dish was perfectly prepared, flavorful and pleasing to the eye. The wine list includes some interesting local choices, the service was friendly and attentive, the view spectacular. Worthy of its rating.

excellent. one of my favorite restaurants in the tessin. especially the appetizer "lauwarme gänseleber" with a glass sweet wine is the absolute hit. in summer this court is not always available. therefore my tip: at the reservation, you must preorder this appetizer. also all other dishes are highly recommended! the service is excellent and at last the return to locarno is very impressive (approx. 15 minutes)

The restaurant is inside a converted chapel on the hill, overlooking the lake. The food was well executed. I loved my branzino fillet, which was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. Service was also excellent as well. Overall, I would def. come back. Réservez une table maintenant

we were there for lunch today. eating - fresh homemade ravioli with calf filling was excellent. also the pfirsich sorbet was very good. the service was very friendly and attentive.

poor portions, very high prices, service in the norm. local for German Swiss willing to pay more than actual value. there are many better places and at more Christian prices.
