We chanced upon this restaurant and were so glad we did. Unfortunately the room with the view was full, so I'd recommend booking in advance.I chose the menu for about 28 euros and thought it was excellent value. We were given a really stunning amuse bouche - a cold asparagus veloute with foie gras. All the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The main dish could have benefitted from being a little warmer. The portions weren't huge, but we didn't walk away hungry. The service was good. The highlight of my meal was the amuse bouche and dessert. I'd be happy to visit here again.
We had a table reserved in the terrace in the 1st seating at 715pm. We thought that it was a little too early for dinner but the view was just awesome and I think if we came any later, we might not be able to appreciate it. Food was great. We took the set menu of 28€. Service was excellent as well. Do pay attention to the drinks. It's adds up easily. They asked if we wanted an aperitif.. then we took a bottle of wine. We didn't take the coffee. (3€ for an espresso?? ) Final bill was 95€ which in my opinion, just a tad too expensive.
Nous avons eu une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac de Sainte-Croix et le repas était délicieux. La quantité de nourriture était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous sentir bien et rassasiés. Le hamburger était incroyable (la viande à l'intérieur était délicieuse et le poisson était parfaitement cuit. Et... laissez-moi vous parler du dessert... Il semblait être fait par un pâtissier professionnel! Si léger et équilibré... Je recommande ce restaurant si vous voulez profiter d'un repas parfait à un prix abordable.
French food at its best! Quality of products, taste of the food and the way it looks - all is beyond amazing! In addition - you get an amazing view over the lake if you are lucky to get a table on the terrace. If you want one, think and book a table in advance. But even if you sit indoors, you will still enjoy the nice atmosphere and fantastic food. Big praise to the chef and all the staff that makes your visit unforgettable! This place is the must visit if you happen to be in Le Verdon area.

A little disappointed with the food which I thought was over fussy and lacking in taste. The melon gazpacho amuse bouche, in particular, was very bland. The real disappointment were the absolutely tiny glasses of champagne! For €9.50 I think you should expect a full size glass! The view is glorious from the terrace and the Irish waitress was attentive and friendly...we will certainly give it another try...we may just have been unlucky that night...
L'Actuel has a location with a stunning view... Wisely they do not rest on their vista laurels.The lunch we had with friends was a delight and superbly presented. We didn't bother with the view as the food was so enjoyable...very good service and after the meal we took time to admire the view. Definite recommendation.
Nous avons adoré aller à ce restaurant, mais quelle déception. Certains avis accusent le propriétaire, ce qui aurait du sens car c'est une cuisine totalement différente, en dessous de la moyenne et chère. Un Tiramisu qui était un bol avec des cookies Oreo ! Quel... dommage car c'est un bel environnement.

Ma deuxième visite n'a pas été déçue. La vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique ; le menu du midi est composé de deux plats à 24,90 €. Magnifiquement présenté et chaque élément de l'assiette est délicieusement cuit. J'aurais aimé vivre plus près.
