The food here is delicious. For appetizers my friend and I ordered the blini which was a savory crepe stuffed with seasoned ground beef, so good. We also had the dumpling soup. Meat dumplings wrapped in dough in a fresh herbed chicken broth. Reminded me of wonton soup, only better. For an entrée, my friend got the beef stroganoff, which looked very good (she said it was delicious) and I got the Filet of Swai, a very tasty whitefish, perfectly cooked. All of the food was wonderful. We were there at an off time on a weekday, so we were the only diners in there at the time and the chef did come out to talk to us. He was very personable. My wife and I were in search of a new place to have dinner and stumbled upon Lada Café. Intrigued, we drove about 40 minutes to get there and were treated to the most incredible meal and a warm, friendly experience that rivals any other restaurant in the world. We sampled numerous dishes and thoroughly enjoyed each one, particularly the exceptional calves that were served. Our server, Michael, was a delightful and attentive young man who went above and beyond for us and all the other patrons in the restaurant. We look forward to returning to Lada Café for our next meal - it's truly fantastic!
so is a great Russian restaurant with really good eating to a great worth. we had flashes of meat to begin scorching, followed by delicious lamb kebab with a side of kasha and bark meat stroganoff with red bliss. for the desert we shared homemade apple cakes. our waiter, michael was an excellent server. go into this restaurant, they will be glad that they have done it.
Outstanding service with a very responsive chef. Our server and the chef were attentive to questions and eager to accommodate specific requests.
