Lafayette Bakery And Cafe

There is a lot of good food and drink in Monterey County! The restaurants are excellent and the area houses companies that produce wine, beer, cheese and other delicacies. After storing local cheese, Lafayette was recommended as a good place for fresh bread. The Lafayette French Bakery Cafe is located in Barnyard directly on Highway One in Carmel. The shopping area is sweet and there are many free parking spaces.

Beautiful... picturesque... my personal favorite... I'd call it the best bakery in the whole karmeltal... I like Mona Lisa Carmel-by-the-sea, but the Lafayette is a league apart. The aroma of coffee, the French decor... the bread, the crepes, the sunny side up peach apricots, the chocolate almond croissant and the state of the art... It won't be better. Lafayette will be back for me and my wife soon.

East 5 stars. I visited w/ family and we had 2 blueberry squares and 1 pistachio raspberry tart. It was very good as usually). They also sell sandwiches, croissants, Plamiers, snails not real ones, of course). So good. Will visit again.

I had an apple cake and my wife had a queue. The place was in a great location of The Barn Shopping. Parking is sufficient and free. You don't have time limits like downtown to park. #lafayette bakery

We live in the city and regularly visit Lafayette. Paris in Carmel. Love their baguettes, pastries and often get their minibaguette sandwiches for our golf game.
