This restaurant was recommended to me from one of the Car Rental staff at the airport when I checked in. The service for food was very quick. The broccoli, beef and fried rice I ordered came out about $16. Medium drink it was about $3.75. The broccoli beef alone for $13.50 when served with the fried rice, Did not seem like a really big portion. The broccoli pieces were generally pretty huge chunks, the amount of beef I got was not that much for the price, some carrots mixed in. The gravy was like an average brown beef gravy which I thought was ok. The fried rice for $2.50 was an ok portion, with peas and some meat pieces mixed. I added some soy sauce for added flavor and also ok with the bro...
We spontaneously decided to eat at the restaurant. There were a few to-go guests and you can't really go wrong with Chinese. That's what we thought.It took quite a long time until the food was ready. I had a dish from Chef Spezial, the Beef Brisket on Chow Funm; But I have to honestly say that I have rarely eaten so badly.The noodles were lumpy and overcooked, drowned in a strange sauce, the beef was subterranean: streaked with fat and sinew. I would offer meat like this to my dog, but not to my paying guests. The broccoli was watered down and tasteless.Overall, a terribly bad meal.
This place was the perfect hole in the wall restaurant 18 years ago at their old location, when I was on Oahu last. Since moving to this new location they have a nicer dining room and better AC than I remember! The food is still amazing and the home-style service hits the spot. Love this place. Don’t hesitate to come here!
Don’t recommend, this place, I ordered chicken and fried rice, but there was very small bit of chicken, I kindly asked for normal plate but they put it to plastic box because I used restaurant terrace to eat. I hate how restaurants cheat with meet in dishes.

I stayed at the Pacific Marina Inn attached to the restaurant so I was easily able to get my food. Great food! I just was not into all of the cabbage in the fried rice.

Great homestyle chinese food. The braised brisket is my favorite. The honey walnut shrimp is always popular.
The food here is the best Chinese cuisine on the island. This quaint little spot is truly a hidden gem.
