Visited La Paisana thus August for my Birthday. I was a bit apprehensive arriving, after we toured Bruhl searching for a warm restaurant which would be suitable for the entire family. We were my wife and 4 kids.We all found something to eat, waiters were warm and friendly despite restaurant being packed. Food came out surprisingly fast. We had Vienna schnitzel (their version is steak wrapped in bread crumbs) chips and a rump steak. All perfectly made. Deserts were great too. I asked the waiter about a drink he served to another table and he immediately brought one to the table on the house. Decided to visit here based on recommendations from friends and certainly did not regret it.After being seated, my group and I struggled to translate the menu, before being given English versions by the staff which helped the ordering process. I went in for a sirloin steak, which was absolutely delicious, succulent, tender and no waste at all on the cutlet of meat. The chips and other sides served alongside were also tasty enough too. Overall this place does some amazing food and Steaks whilst entailing a calm atmosphere with some friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit if your in Bruhl, especially if you love steak.
Ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Köln! Das Restaurant Lavendel überzeugt mit authentischer kroatisch-mediterraner Küche auf höchstem Niveau. Die Gerichte sind unglaublich frisch, perfekt gewürzt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Zutaten – man schmeckt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Frische und echten Geschmack gelegt wird. Auch der Service war hervorragend: sehr herzlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll, warm und vermittelt sofort dieses mediterrane Urlaubsgefühl. Würden immer wieder gerne kommen!
Das Lavendel ist eine bekannte Anlaufstätte in Brühl für leckeres Essen mit großzügigen Portionen. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und bietet für die allermeisten Geschmäcker eine gute Auswahl verschiedener Speisen. Unter der Woche auch öfter Tagesangebote. Einen Punkt ziehe ich ab weil die Steaks dieses mal alle nicht auf den Punkt waren. Nicht verhunzt, aber eben auch keine 5 Sterne. Sauberkeit der Tische war bei unserem Besuch auch verbesserungswürdig. Aber wir kommen sicher trotzdem wieder, alles in allem eine super Adresse.

Very nice welcome, they have a menu also written in english and french which can be helpful. Good antipasti, and the sirloin steak I ordered medium rare was wood grilled exactly as i liked, juicy and tasty, accompanied by a baked potato and a spicy ground veggies mix which all tasted wonderful together.Price very good for the quality and class of your food.I know where I will return when feeling like having a excellent steak in the area!!
Ein sehr schönes Lokal, es lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Sehr aufmerksamer Service, ein sehr schönes Ambiente und das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft! Preis Leistung ist absolut im grünen Bereich. Wir waren zufällig in der Gegend und haben einen sehr schönen Platz zugewiesen bekommen obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
Although this place is kind of pricey and the interior is out dated, the food is great and staff is funny and helpful. We come here regularly for steaks and filets and haven't been disappointed once. It's always cooked just right! I'd recommend to place a reservation because it might get quite busy.
