My experience at the cafe today was disappointing. Despite the fact that the place was almost empty, the staff ignored us when we arrived and we ended up leaving without even being acknowledged. It would have been nice to receive a simple greeting or an assurance that they would be with us shortly. Instead, they seemed more focused on chatting amongst themselves. I hope they consider being more attentive and courteous to customers in the future.
Only ever visited for coffee and cake/scones, all baking done on site, fabulous baking, wide selection of goods. They offer an extensive menu covering hot meals also. The shop is small and very popular, better ask if you can book to ensure you aren't disappointed. The food is one thing you won't be disappointed in.
My favorite spot to grab a drink after a walk from Broughty Ferry. The staff is friendly and cheerful. We have tried scones at many cafes, but The Lairds Larder has the best plain and cheese scones. We will definitely make a stop during our walks. The lunch is also great value and delicious.
A few of us went out for a stroll and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. We ordered bacon rolls and cakes, and everyone in our group was extremely satisfied with their meals. It's no wonder that the restaurant was bustling with customers. Réservez une table maintenant

Pleasant, friendly and comfortable with good food. This is a little Scottish oasis on Monifieth high street. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious but the menu has plenty of alternatives if your looking for a lighter meal.
Good home made food. Excellent choice of menu including gluten free. Lovely waitresses, very polite and knowledgeable able their products. Very clean. Nice clean toilets good supply of paper ynice soap.

This is a lovely, friendly restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff. Excellent snacks, meals and home baked cakes as well. Yummy!
