Make sure you ring ahead and order your drink in advance and never order one from the public bar (pool room) as you could wait up to 15 minutes or longer. Salt and pepper squid should be removed from all pubs as the lingering odour is absolutely foul. Won $30 on the pub tab machine and as I went to cash in the bar manager said she had finished her shift and was off home, with a big smile on her face... and she was standing right next to the tab console. Pub managers come and go every 6 months or so, like higher management think changing them, will change the reputation of the place. Thought we would try out Lakers again, went down hill, but my son recommended to try again as he was most satisfied, and he was right! Lauren our waitress was more than helpful! A nice variety of food to choose. My squid was delicious and fresh not from a box out of the freezer!!! My partner had the pork belly he too left the plate clean! We will definitely go back! Keep the Chef!!! Staff are friendly and very helpful! Thank you!!!

Recently we decided to head down to the local for dinner with our visitors from the country. We had a bad dining experience several years ago at Lakers and as such, it was risky to take our visitors. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! We had several small plates to share (which were amazing) and then our mains later which were very good. Our visitors were impressed. We will be back :)

The decor in this Tavern is very nice, the staff are friendly and the beer selection good, but is is the food that is worth talking about, steak and calamari for $26.00 is great value for Perth. The beef cheeks on mash with wilted spinach was also good value for $28.00. If you are looking for good quality food as a reasonable price, give Lakers Tavern a go Réservez une table maintenant

Had a great afternoon in pleasant surroundings. The smokers outside make it a little uncomfortable even though we were sitting in the no smoking area smoke still blows in. Food and staff were both excellent. Recommend the 5 combo Lakers Plate.

Got to be honest, had the best meal i think i had ever had out full stop 'jerky chicken ". Great live music and great service. Highly recommended. ????

Took 25 elderly people for lunch and the Irish lady was fantastic, all meals came out at a good speed, and could not do enough for all of us, thanks.
