When we arrived, there was no ID verification for our reservation, which I found odd but didn’t think much of it. I explained that we had five vehicles, three of which were towing trailers with UTVs, and I asked if we could park them all near the cabin. I was informed that we could only park five vehicles total, which included the UTVs, and was shown an area where we could park the extra vehicles and trailers, requiring us to walk down to the cabin. We unloaded and parked our trucks and trailers as instructed, making sure only four vehicles were left in the driveway by the cabin.

This was an amazing vacation. I am rating it 4 stars because There were a couple of things I felt could use improvement. To start with the good: The staff was great! The food was delicious and QUICK! We were genuinely surprised at how quick and delicious all of our meals. were. The small, private cabin that we rented was perfect for us. The moderately stocked kitchen was a huge plus as well. The Cons: The main thing we kept mentioning was that there needs to be improved seating/viewing areas. There are a couple of very janky wooden benches out on the front lawn/ wave break, but we thought that several Adirondack chairs would be such a cool touch! They have such amazing grounds around the lod...
Rented a boat from Lakeside. Paid for a 11 person, got a 10 person. The guy working the counter for rentals on 8/5/2023 in the morning was less than pleasant. Just rude and aggressive and obviously didn 't want to be there. The gentleman that showed us the boat was great. Super nice guy and really approachable. The guys at the end of the day were also great. The day passes for the day use area is so silly. $8 a person even if you are just sitting at the picnic table all day. Overall, it was fine. Kids had fun, which is what mattered most.
We rented the large two-bedroom cabin for the second time and were just as pleased as before. The cabin is clean, private, and very spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We definitely plan to come back next year. During our time in Island Park, our family had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was truly exceptional. I chose the ribeye, and it was wonderfully tender and cooked just right. This is a nice camp ground. There is full hookups for RVs, cabins for families, lake front parking, trampoline water park, boats, jet skis, bikes, UTVs, trails like crazy. It’s an amazing experience. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
