Lakkana - Réservation de table

Yesterday we booked for lunch. We had eaten dinner here before some time ago and had a lovely meal, but this time we did not even get that far. We were shown to our table and immediately noticed it was not clean. The waiter leaned over and flicked a grain of rice with his fingers and then walked away. Which was surprising, but we assumed he was going to get a cloth to clean the table. There were left over bits of food stuck all over the surface of the table. We looked around and noticed that all the tables around us, which were all unoccupied, were in the same condition. We then saw the waiter approaching our table with an armful of crockery and cutlery to set our table, but no cloth to wipe...

We had four dishes, two starters and two entrees. The starters were Chicken Satay and Egg Rolls. The entrees were Green Curry and Pad Thai. Chicken Satay: The chicken was over cooked and the peanut sauce was so flavorless you wouldn't know it was peanut. Egg Rolls: Nice and crispy with good flavor. Green Curry: I love Green Curry, order it about 85% of the time when we have Thai food. This was by far, one of the worst Green Curries I've tasted. Didn't have anymore after the first serving. Pad Thai: Good, not great, but had a good amount of flavor. Would we go back, No! A tale of two meals.

As soon as you enter the establishment, you'll feel like you've been transported to a cozy and inviting hideaway that has been lovingly decorated. The food was delicious, I enjoyed the delicately prepared squid, which is a no small feat to achieve as many places often overcook it. The staff are warm and welcoming. Additionally, as someone who has noise sensitivity, the careful and considered layout of the restaurant ensures privacy for diners and a gentle background noise of other patrons and light jazz. If you're in Braga, this is definitely a must-visit spot.

Excellent food and customer service. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere, very well decorated and authentic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We went there for a beer and then Luis suggested us to come in for dinner and we were astounded by the authentic taste. Excellent Thai chef and overall staff. Réservez une table maintenant

My wife and I ate at the Lakkana Thai Restaurant in Braga during a holiday in Portugal. It was located in the old city near to our hotel and we enjoyed the conversations with our servicer, who spoke excellent English. The food was typical Thai and most enjoyable.

accueil chaleureux, plats somptueux et service impeccable, tous à des prix très corrects. alternative parfaite à la cuisine portugaise dans un paysage très exotique, très exotique, dans le quartier historique près de la cathédrale. Je recommande fortement.

We expected a nice dinner at this high score restaurant. We wanted to order duck from the menu but they didn’t have. Er went for a chicken based corse. It was so little (my partner got more). The kitchen should manage to serve full portion to all guests.

Craving Thai food we decided to give Lakkana a try and were delighted. The place is tiny but full of atmosphere and the staff could not be friendlier. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!! Réservez une table maintenant

The best meal we have had in Braga. Prepared while we waited. The restaurant has a true Thai feel and prepared by an excellent chef. Very reasonable priced
