I went to Laliguras Indian Nepali Bistro last night and it surpassed all our expectations. The Butter Chicken had the most delectable sauce I've ever tasted in DC and the surrounding states. The samosas were flavorful, and my vegan friend thoroughly enjoyed the Chana Masala. The prices were reasonable and the service by owner Dawa was personable, friendly, and top-notch. I am looking forward to returning soon.
This place is a gem! Though it doesn't look like much from the outside, inside the decor whisks you away to Nepal. The staff was incredibly attentive, the food was outstanding, and when I asked for spicy, they actually made it spicy. They also had good lunch specials. I definitely recommend it.
Location is good, attentive staff. Got three apps and one main to try variety. Most the apps tasted similar and one had a hair in it, when we sent it back it, were pretty sure they just re plated the same food. The main curry was the star, chicken breast was dry. Nice inside, with a view.
The food tastes are not terrible but everything takes a loooooong time, from getting seated, ordering, and food being served. And we mentioned “ it’s been a while” after 40 minutes of waiting but got ignored. The restaurant was half full in Saturday late afternoon Réservez une table maintenant
I went there for the second time and I love the food they serve. Dawa dai(the man who served us) is a very kind person with a great attitude towards his customers. He was very helpful to us while we were dinning in and the overall food and service was top notch.
Just a short walk from Van Ness UDC Metro Station the food is hot, fresh and incredibly delicious. I was greeted with a big welcoming warm smile, seated promptly and my meal came out in under 10mins. Highly recommend and I will be a frequent guest!
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! We had the veggie momo, Malai kofta, and lamb kashmiri. All were excellent, though I think I could live on that Malai kofta gravy. ? Incredible!!Wheelchair accessibility: It has a good ramp right next to the stairs!
The restaurant has a charming and peaceful atmosphere. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is exceptional, with perfectly seasoned dishes and tenderly cooked meat. I highly recommend trying the Sag Lamb, a spinach-based dish. Réservez une table maintenant
We ordered two meals: 1) Butter chicken 2) Tandoori kabab and calamari as appetizers. The food was good overall, except for the butter chicken which was undercooked. The drinks were not good. We paid a total of $67 for two people.
