This restaurant was recommended by our accommodation hostess she definitely got it right. The food was above average, with a good range of selections from which to choose all meals were cooked to perfection. All 4 diners sampled the pea soup for entree altho' not a large serve, it had a peppery piquancy, which was very tasty. Our mains were varied included 2 orders of Lamb Navarine, 1 order of Cod fish 1 fillet of beef. All were nice sized serves came with mashed potato, a slice of sweet potato stuffed aubergine. All dishes were nicely cooked, tender, succulent well presented. Wines can be purchased by the bottle, by the glass or in a variety of sizes in between, so there is something to suit everyone. Beers soft drinks also available, so no one is left wondering what drinks to order. Desserts included Polenta Brûlée, Chocolate Mousse, Panacotta Tiramisu again, all nicely presented flavoursome. Price for 4 diners for the 3 courses, 4 beers wine was €112 which was quite reasonable for a quality meal. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.
